Grimy stupid money

After his extraordinary blaze of literary glory, Arthur Rimbaud took off for adventure in first in Java and Cyprus then in Africa and basically did pretty well as an entrepreneur / adventurer until he got cancer and ended up pretty much misunderstood and mistreated by the medical systems of the time. I am still agonising over how my operation is going to be paid for. The people at the end of the line are "supportive" but not answering the big question yet.
